Using recognised competence description

The compass matrix is based on competence descriptions that have been developed in a number of european settings:

• Common European Framework of Reference for Languages
• European Qualifications Framework
• The Definition and Selection of Key Competences (DeSeCo), OECD

How to use the matrix?

Click on each of the level indications (A1 ...) and you will get a generic description of a competence level as well as a description of the competence within specific fields.
